This month we celebrate our first official Fitcamper of the Month: Dureive Lambert. Dureive is the well deserved recipient of a full body massage and let me tell you why. She faithfully came to class three days a week despite her chronic low back pain and worked through it (safely, mind you). Dureive had always struggled with being consistent with exercise (who hasn’t?), so it was a joy to welcome her back into my life after she defeated her third bout of breast cancer. TxL Family Pumpkin Workout…Huge Success!

We had a fantastic turnout for the Family Pumpkin Workout this past Saturday! Over 40 kids and parents partook of the energetic games and pumpkin exercises.
This event is the only family fitness event of its kind in all of Cleveland. We made history, and history repeats itself as I will be orchestrating another Family Pumpkin Workout in 2010 (perhaps more than one).
The West Life News was there to report the event and bring awareness to the West Side of Cleveland that we can have fun on Halloween without consuming excess candy.
Special thanks to all the families that attended and the volunteers, who spent their Saturday morning making the TxL Family Pumpkin Workout a great success!

Donovan Owens, the Godfather of Bootcamps, from Hutto, Texas runs a smashingly successful bootcamp called the Busy Women Bootcamps. He was at Rocco Castellano’s Fitness Celebrity Branding Summit, hence the beautiful mountains in the background.
In honor of Fitcamps “Hard-Core Strength” session this month, I wanted to get his take on one of the best exercises you can do for a tight mid-section and strong physique. Saturday Exercise Therapy Session Only
Do you have sore muscles? Do you exercise hard? Do you have low-back tension?
