Yesterday was an awesome day! I did a fun demo for kids and adults at the Live Well Lakewood Street Walk. It turned out to be a very big event in the city, which closed off a very large section of street so families could walk, bike or skateboard around and enjoy the fitness events. Check out the feature video to the right for a taste of what Training By Liz did.
Also, I finally got the chance to climb a rock wall for the first time!! Although I did not make it to the top, I truly enjoyed the new challenge. Special thanks to the Army for setting up this very intense and fun activity! Check out the pics below. Do you think the city would let me have one of these in my backyard?

If you want to burn body fat, get strong and help a worthy cause, then you’ll want to know about “Fitcamp For Needy Families.” This is a campaign that runs the entire month of August whereby 50% of what you pay Training by Liz goes directly to the Lakewood Christian Service Center!
Do you know of any other personal trainer or fitness facility that is willing to stick their financial necks on the line like this? Probably not! What is more, I am SO HAPPY to do this. I want the classes to be packed to the gills so we can kick major butt and turn in a handsome donation to LCSC, who services over 250 families each week.
What is more, I also ask that you bring non-perishable food and/or household item that could help support a needy family.
These are tough times and no matter how badly some of us may have it, there are still loads more people who suffer and have even fewer resources.
Time to help your body and your fellow man and register for the “Fitcamp for Needy Families” campaign here:
Now, get ready to sweat for a great cause!
